Link to Connect Support
Every step from connecting to submitting — and if the answer isn't here, one email reaches the developer directly.
1. Getting started
Step 0: download
Link to Connect is live on the App Store and free to download: open Link to Connect on the App Store (macOS 15 or later).
Step 1: connect, or play demo mode first
The app opens on the connection page. You have two choices:
- Enter your key to work against a real account — the key is signed locally on your Mac and never uploaded anywhere;
- Enter demo mode: no key needed, all five tabs work with local sample data. An orange "Demo mode · sample data" badge stays in the toolbar; exiting discards everything.
Step 2: pick a tab and start
Batch IAP, subscriptions, studio, automatic screenshots, and submission are independent — start anywhere without affecting the others.
2. What each tab does
Batch IAP
Fill the table in plain language — types, locales, prices in yuan — and submission converts everything to the required enums and price tiers. Product IDs and internal names get prefixes automatically; localizations, review notes, review screenshots, "available in all territories", and family sharing are one click away. CSV import / export / template with UTF-8, UTF-16, and GB18030 detection, plus bounded-concurrency batch creation.
Subscriptions
Grouped automatically by review status (waiting / submitted / approved); check items into the draft box and submit the whole box together. Batch-edit review notes, review screenshots, and availability for unsubmitted purchases, or batch-delete.
Studio
Import assets or use automatic screenshots, apply device frames and colorways; switch between 2D and 3D perspective with solid, gradient, or blurred-image backgrounds; rich title and footer styling; system translation for multi-language sets; export by frame × locale or route uploads by locale.
Auto screenshots
Pick a project, build, and let the simulator run and capture automatically. Manual retakes, output folder choice, and a Finder jump; results feed straight into the studio.
Submission
Batch-edit and translate version metadata with live character counters for description, keywords, promotional text, and what's new. Submit or cancel a whole draft box; connection status and operation logs stay visible throughout.
3. FAQ
Is my API key safe?
Your key is signed locally on your Mac with CryptoKit (ES256) before any request is made. We have no servers and no account system; the app's only outbound destination is the developer API endpoint you configure.
What if batch creation hits rate limits?
Batch creation uses bounded concurrency and retries automatically on rate limits; every step's outcome is visible in the operation log.
My CSV import shows garbled text — what now?
Import auto-detects UTF-8, UTF-16, and GB18030. If text still looks wrong, re-save the file as "CSV UTF-8" in your spreadsheet app and import again; a template is downloadable inside the app.
Where do automatic screenshots go?
Into the output folder you choose (changeable in settings). Results feed straight into the studio; manual retakes and a Finder jump are included.
Can demo mode touch my real account?
No. The demo backend runs entirely in memory and makes no network requests; nothing you do can reach a real account, and exiting discards everything.
Is this app affiliated with Apple?
No. Link to Connect is an independent third-party tool with no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by Apple Inc. It connects to the developer backend through your own API key.
4. Feedback
Bugs, feature ideas, and usage suggestions are all welcome by email. It helps to include:
- Your macOS version and app version (1.0.1);
- The tab and steps where the problem happened;
- Any on-screen error or operation-log screenshot (please mask real account data);
Never paste a real key into an email — we don't need it and will never ask for it.
5. Contact
